Using up scraps from a Tilda fat quarter pack I randomly joined the pieces together and cut out a make up bag. Pattern is from the book ‘Amy Butler Style Stitches’. Its a nice long bag that means you can fit in a brush or long comb. One of my favourite pieces.
This make was a bag swap. The idea being on this Facebook forum people agree to make a bag and post to a another member. This was a great idea, sadly I didn’t receive one back but I had lovely feedback from the lady that received this 🙂
This was another idea that was made with no pattern. Lots of things I would change if I made it again, but the little lady loves it so who am I to argue?

Once I decided to have a go quilting I tried EEP and did not like the slow progress. I saw some quilting panels and decided to go with them which meant sashing around them which was much harder than I thought it would be. Anyway the little man loved it and 3 years later it is still on his bed. This was very much a guess and go project and sparked off my love of quilting.
This quilt was a gift. It was much quicker to make up after my first practice. I love the bright colours, which were chosen by the child’s Mum. I must try to find the link to this magazine  pattern. I now have a fabric cutting machine so next time this pattern is made it should be a lot quicker!
